Delicious sweet buns and cookies. I love their coconut buns, pork buns and lychee jello. Prices are cheaper than Cocobun or Harmonie bakery. The owners of this small mom and pop shop are passionate about their baking. The place looks unassuming, but the treats are great

Hidden gem of Chinatown. Great tasting traditional chinese pastry made the old school way. Price are very cheap too, 1.25$ for a giant stuffed bun that could be easily eaten by 2 peoples. Owners are very nice and the store has a very good selection of sweet or salty baked good and more. Love the Rose & Litche jelly! People should really go experience it before bigger corporate bakery like Harmony and Cocobun take over and end up closing them down like most mom & pop business. Once that kind of place close down, it is gone for good so it would be a shame if nobody find out about them! Bring your cash as it is cash only!

Chow's Pastry Shop is perhaps the bakery for a Chinese bakery skeptic. Those that have noticed that most bakeries sell cookie-cutter clones of the same Westernized baked goods; you know the ones. So while there are no coconut cream buns here (some may breathe a sigh of relief), there's a selection of pretty traditional pastries that you're not likely to find anywhere else. It's as old-school as it gets, with goodies like sweet jellies, moon cakes, bean-stuffed flaky pastries and sesame balls. -- Mimi's Cake Tour""

A kind old couple owns this hidden store- if you step in, you can almost always see one of them making their pastries in the back! It has delighted every friend I've brought there with the most traditional and delicious handmade pastries in all of Chinatown. My mom was filled with nostalgia; she hadn't seen many of the pastries we found here since her childhood in China, and agrees that the taste is better!

Passed by this hidden pastry place in Chinatown, all these for only $5, the owner is super nice and she told me that there were fresh made buns , so I tried the bbq one. Ur was really good as u can see the chunk of pork inside bun, not too sweet like the other places. I love it!

This is a cute little shop in Chinatown. I love their hand made pastries, definitely the best I've had in Montreal! My favourites are their lychee jelly and egg tarts.

Unlike other more commercial pastry shop in Chinatown, they have a more traditional selection of pastry. Less sweet than other westernised shops, the taste of their food is more light. It's a little shop run by a family, more like the kind of shop we can find in small Chinese town.Very nice
