Literally amazing. There is a reason why there is so much hype. This place deserves it. You will not find a better value ANYWHERE. The pastries are amazing, the price is unbeatable, and the selection is vast.

i tried the 蛋黃蓮蓉酥 and it was so delicious and tasty. The saltiness of the egg yolk combined with the sweetness and thickness of the lotus filling is just perfect. The filling is well and the flakiness is on point. Make sure to come early as things run out quickly, I came here and this was one of the few things left. It was around $3.5 but it was SO worth it, definitely an experience. The customer service is good. They offer napkins and bags. These are a good price as a pack of 3 almond cookies or 杏仁餅 are only $3 whereas in other bakeries it is more expensive. I will definitely return for another visit

I appreciate how the cakes and pastries are neatly wrapped. Most Asian bakeries use this self-select system, and wrapping them reduces handling. The pastries taste good too.

Love the bun most! The pastry of taro is not bad and very popular. Egg tart is traditional Cantonese style. The price is reasonable with good quality. Bring cash!

The great MASHION BAKERY on the East side of Spadina Avenue just North of Baldwin is an in-house bakery that produces a store of full of delicious Chinese pastries, pies & cookies to satisfy any sweet tooth craving as well as meat filled savoury buns. They have taken the COVID pandemic seriously and all items are packaged in a clear packet. The attached pictures gives a view of their sweet offerings - with my favourites being the red bean paste buns and the almond cookies. Yumm!

The char sui bow is delicious. Three big buns for $4. The sesame balls are outstanding and stuffed to the brim with red bean paste. Not greasy at all. Outstanding bakery.

Great bakery on Spadina in the heart of Chinatown. The place is clean, the prices are competitive and the service is quick even when it is overly crowded sometime. The cakes were decent considering the price paid. Give it a try!

Found this gem by a mere accident and I’m very proud of myself I did. They offer impressively delicious buns and pastries at prices you wouldn’t see anywhere else, especially at the times like this. They take cash and debit. The staff is quiet and friendly!

The best bakery I’ve been to in Toronto considering the price.Costs: very inexpensive! Most items are less than 2 dollars. I think a majority of them are $0.60-$1.00.Quality: I was so surprised that the taste was as good as it was for so cheap. The bread is dense, thick, and fluffy. I usually like to get breads with sweet pastes inside because the taste of bread alone doesn’t always hit it for me, but this place’s plain bread is fantastic alone. If you’re one who likes sweetness, I recommend the taro bun— one of the best ones I’ve had!Overall, I recommend 100%! I got a total of 7 different breads all for $10.35. The only downside is that they could only accept cash.
